Thankful Thursday

I am so thankful for a job that I truly LOVE! I have such a great class this year. In the last six years of teaching I have encountered some challenging students. Strange as it may sound, those are the ones I normally bond the most with! It must be because we spend so much time together! ha The group this year, I would definitely loop up with! BUT my feet will remain in Pre-K for the time being! This year though I would bring home a handful of them if I could. ;)They are precious, they give the best hugs all the time! Below is a beautiful necklace one of the girls made me today! :)I was working with a small group of kiddos, in the math center. I had to check on someone and this is what I found in the computer center. Mr. Kangaroo wanted a chance to get on the computer too!! This brightened my day!

Hard at Work

I was given the opportunity to tutor reading this year for a group of third graders! It was good for me to get out of my Pre-K world! SOOO today was our last day of tutoring! I am sure I saw some teachers dancing their ways to their cars this afternoon! I am so thankful that I was able to have enough self control not to devour the table of snacks they brought! We told them they could bring some snacks for the last day to celebrate, but we had no idea there would be a feast. I stuck to my diet and consumed no sugar! :) Yay me, maybe! ;)

Last but not least! I am so thankful that a year ago today my precious Jesus walked with me into surgery! I am so blessed that He answered my prayers and restored my health!

I heart the Vintage Pearl so much!! It is jewelry with heart and meaning behind it! All the girls in my family received TVP for Christmas (my mom and all 5 sisters). A girl I work with recently lost a baby in her 6th month of pregnancy, I knew I had to get her a necklace. From Russia With Love

It has been almost six years since I was last in Russia. The last year that I went I met a friend. Her name is Jenya, she is also a red head, maybe that was our connection. Jenya and her husband were very active in the church that we teamed up with. Our ability to communicate was a bit challenging, but it didn't stop a friendship from forming. Jenya was so precious and tried so hard to communicate with me, many times drawing a picture in the dirt. We have stayed connected through email. She now has two children. So, a couple days ago I had a slip in my mailbox, I thought it was a certified letter. It was a package for me all the way from Russia! I almost lost it in the parking lot of the post office!

Tonight my heart is so full and blessed! My heart longs for the day to be able to return to Russia to see my friend!!

I have so neglected this blog..... there is so much to update on!! A new diet/ Life style change ;), Spring Break, the Bible study I am in, sooo much!
